Employees that stick with you for years require less hand-holding. Some retention ideas:  Pay for professional development workshops. Sponsor a day trip for the employee+spouse+kids.


Treat your vendors like friends

In business, we have to connect with Vendors when we need new supplies or resolve a supply chain crisis. But also connect regularly to find out how "they" are doing, professionally and personally.


Motivated vendors ultimately lead to customer happiness. So you can hit the ski resort worry-free.


Reward your loyal customers

Returning customers are familiar with your operating procedures and transactions are usually frictionless. Plus, did I say the transactions are also the most profitable? :-)
